Scion of Heroes – Stuart McCulloch. The Croft, Dingwall, 6pm
An illustrated talk on the life of Captain James Murray concentrating upon his time in the Dingwall area - his residence at Castle Leod, his work for his aunt, the Countess of Cromartie, his marriage and his wife's scandalous affair with Robert Ramsay Mackenzie, and the subsequent farcical events surrounding the duels involving James, Seaforth, Munro and Rose Ross.
