Cromarty Film Festival The Cromarty Film Festival is an Annual Event that takes place during the first weekend in December. The festival runs for three or four days and includes a wide range of activities including: Special Guests who talk about their favourite films, Archive screenings, Projections onto Buildings in the town and much more.

Black Isle GatheringThe Black Isle Gathering is one big market day which unites all Black Isle community groups, small businesses, clubs, societies, churches, craftmakers and food suppliers under one roof - Fortrose Academy. BIM Projects (Black Isle Music)BIM Projects began in 2009 with a weekend workshop performance of Handel's Messiah. In 2011 we held the Mozart Requiem weekend led by 14 professional international-calibre musicians, which was attended by 150 musical participants and over 275 audience members.
It was our intention to make BIM a biennial event but in 2013 our professional team is heavily committed so our next event is now likely to be in 2014.
Avoch GalaAvoch Gala week happens every July - includes a week of activities culminating in Gala Day, with the traditional procession and crowning of the Herring Queen.
