Church St - middle - c1900

This amazing pic shows the houses on Church St which were replaced by the Episcopal Church and the Hugh Miller Institute. None of the houses in the foreground exist now.

My great great grandfather Alexander Gillanders Ross, a shoemaker, lived with his family in Church Street in 1860.

This is such a fantastic photo of something that's gone forever! The Episcopal Church and the Hugh Miller Institute look as though they had always been there ! Are there any more photos of other buildings that no longer exist that could be shown here as well?
