Gordons Lane

One of the small streets in the Fishertown. Note the Crowstep gable on the cottage at the right of the picture, a feature which can still be seen on a number of houses in the town.

What is a crowstep gable? never heard of that before.

crow steps or craw steps as some Scots know them as are the set of projecting steps on the gables of the roofs of old houses.
