alison and alastairs memorial
Memorial plaque affixed to commemorative bench placed at the gable of Seabank House, Alison and Alastair's favourite sitting place of a warm summer evening.
It reads:
In Memory of Alison Dunn 1925-2006 Irascible, volatile, irritating, irritable, endlessly optimistic and kind. Sorely missed. "Wait a minute . . ."
and of Alastair Dunn 1925-2007 Stubborn, contumacious, unorthodox, epicurean, limitlessly tolerant and patient. Also sorely missed. "Aye, well. That's about the size of it."
A perfect partnership
Alastair’s memorial stone
Changed Highland Council rules meant that Alastair could not be buried in the same lair as Pop and Alison. This stone is placed on his grave, 5 yards away across the path, and also includes a memorial to Alison.
