Beginners and more experienced dancers are welcome. Classes are from 7.30pm to 10.00pm, with easier dances during the first half of the evening. There is a charge of £2.00 per class for members and £2.50 per class for visitors. Your first visit to the Group as a new dancer will be treated as a "taster session" and no charge will be made. Fortrose Scottish Country Dance Group
The dance group is a friendly and informal group that meets on Monday evenings in the Gordon Memorial Hall in Rosemarkie.
Dancing is sociable, fun and good exercise for body and brain!
You don’t need a partner – you will get to meet and dance with other people and don’t worry if you’ve never danced before – you will be given all the help and encouragement you need by our more experienced members. Dancing shoes are not essential at first (soft shoes would be preferable), but a sense of rhythm is useful as is a good sense of humour!
Session dates: 25th September to 18th December 2017
Your first taster session will be free and thereafter a small charge of £2.50 per night to cover tea, biscuits and hire of the hall. If you join the charge is £2.
