Kirkmichael TrustThe Kirkmichael Trust is being set up to oversee the restoration of the old ruined kirk, mausoleums and gravestones. It is a long term project and we are seeking interested persons to become involved, and provide any skills and knowledge they have.
Cromarty History SocietyThe society holds monthly meetings open to all with speakers covering local and national historical issues.
Highlands Astronomical SocietyEvery first Tuesday of the month the society meets at the Spectrum Centre in Inverness, the Capital City of the Highlands of Scotland. During most of the meetings, there is a presentation by one of the members or a volunteer from outside. The subject of the presentation varies from the realms of particle physics to observational skills. Each meeting a topical constellation is described in detail and member have a chance to ask questions and network during the break or after the formal meeting is over.
The Black Isle Swimming Pool FoundationOur aim is to fulfill a community -wide expression of desire that a swimming pool be provided for the 10,000 people of the Black Isle. Such a pool is particularly needed by the growing number of young people in the area who are currently excluded from swimming.

Cromarty Movie MobThe Cromarty Movie Mob (Film Club) has been formed as a forum for the enjoyment and discussion of cinematic arts, with the aim of providing community wide access across the age ranges.
One adult and one family film are shown each month.
Yellow Dog Theatre CompanyYellow Dog Theatre Company’s mission is to create excellent quality community theatre projects across the Highlands with young people from ages 5-25. The work we create is for family audiences. As a business we are educational and fun. Classes take place regularly at Fortrose Theatre, Spectrum Centre (Inverness), Invergordon Arts Centre, and the Nairn Community Centre. All classes lead to productions in local community venues.
Cromarty Film Festival The Cromarty Film Festival is an Annual Event that takes place during the first weekend in December. The festival runs for three or four days and includes a wide range of activities including: Special Guests who talk about their favourite films, Archive screenings, Projections onto Buildings in the town and much more.

Cromarty Youth CaféBlack Isle Horticultural SocietyFortrose Scottish Country Dance Group The Fortrose Scottish Country Dance Group meets on Monday nights in the Gordon Memorial Hall in Rosemarkie from late September through to mid-April. Beginners and more experienced dancers are welcome. Classes are from 7.30pm to 10.00pm, with easier dances during the first half of the evening. There is a charge of £2.00 per class for members and £2.50 per class for visitors. The group aims to promote the enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing.
